Carbohydrates are the primary use of energy for the body to run, we get our carbohydrates from all types of foods.  There are different types of carbohydrates which we consume from different types of foods.  There is slow releasing carbohydrates and fast releasing.  The carbohydrates you want to concentrate on are the slow releasing, and this will also help with the right fat burning foods for your body for losing weight!  Some examples of slow releasing carbohydrates would be:

  • Vegetables: cabbage, green beans, broccili, spinach, tomato’s, celery and so many more!

Look at the food you eat each day.  How much sugar is in your food, are you using sugars in your coffee or tea?  Look at the sugar levels of each product you eat.  If there is another alternative with a lower sugar content try that instead.

Refined Sugar

Refined Sugar

All sugar is a fast releasing carbohydrates, which you want to avoid at all costs – if your aim is to lose weight that is.
